tungsten carbide is a heavy metal can make wedding bands

I have worn this as my ceramic wedding band for two years now, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I grew tired of constantly taking my all-too-soft 18K white gold diamond wedding band to the jewelers for repair and wanted something as tough and durable as my Platinum solitaire tungsten engagement ring.

This carbide ring fit the bill perfectly, the stainless steel ring is nearly indiscernable from my platinum solitaire band, and it’s tough as nails! I have done some serious gardening and scrubbing in this black tungsten ring and it keeps a polished appearance through all the abuse I dish out. I use Maas Metal polish on this mens wedding ring and my platinum solitaire about twice a year and it always brings back the “like new” sheen. I am back to order more Stainless Steel bands from Sabrina Silver in larger mm widths, just to give my wedding set a different look. At this price, I can afford to have one in every width! Thanks Sabrina Silver for a great, durable product!

I ordered this as a stack ring to add to the collection I was accumulating for my middle finger. It turned out the ring was too big so I exchanged it. Again, Sabrina Silver has great customer service. I actually exchanged this white ceramic ring for the 3mm. It is equally stunning. These ceramic rings feel so nice and silky on my finger. I would highly recommend these unique rings.

I went to a jewelry store and asked if there is a grade or quality difference in tungsten. The woman assured me that there wasn’t so I ordered this online when I got home. It looks exactly like anything you would find in a nice jewelry shop. My thoughts were…if it looked good, I saved a great deal of money, and if it looked bad then I only spent $30. My fiance loves it and the quality is fantastic. One thing to remember, tungsten carbide is a heavy metal. This is not a good recommendation for a man that wants a really lightweight ring.

I ordered this carbide ring as a replacement for my black ceramic wedding band. You see, my engagement ring was stolen and my ceramic wedding band doesn’t fit properly and looks odd on my finger since the other is MIA. I wanted something new, something different, someone no one else has. Insert Sabrina Silver. This tungsten carbide ring is gorgeous, and oh so comfortable.

It has the high polish of silver with the durability of stainless steel ring. I’m in love.

I bought a matching solitaire the same day from a different seller to match this one. My mistake. The tungsten ring still hasn’t arrived. When it finally gets here, I’m going to replace the cz with the original diamond of my ceramic engagement ring. We had it mounted in a pendant after my wonderful husband upgraded my diamond on our 3rd wedding anniversary. I can hardly wait!

I ordered this mens ceramic ring on tungstenjewellry.com and they delivered it before the estimated delivery date, about one week after the order, so I was very pleased wth the speed of the delivery.

The fashion tungsten ring looks just like on the picture, beautiful, and sizing is correct and accurate, too. I went to three jewellery shop to ask my ring size (just to be sure), and they all measured 8, but as this tungsten carbide ring is 8mm, they suggested that I should order one size bigger. I ordered a 9, and it fits just perfectly!

As far as I know, if a tungsten mens ring has carbide in it (as this one), it shouldn’t scratch, so it should be scratch-proof, so to speak. So far, mine didn’t scratch. :)

Only downside is – if I may call it that – it’s a little heavy, but I already knew that when I was ordering, so I’m completely satisfied with this engagement rings tungsten, and I will wear it for many years :)

Do You Like The Heavy Weight Of Tungsten Rings

Do You Like The Heavy Weight Of Tungsten Rings?

For me, a little heavy weight will feels good, the carbide ring is only to placate my family and I definitely do not want a tungsten diamond ring. Infact, if my bf proposes with diamond ring I might be a little upset.

I know that it should have nothing to do with my family, but it’s easier to co-exist if they are not constantly down my throat about being non traditional. I’m having hard enough time getting my mom to accept the fact that I don’t plan of having kids. She’ll bring it up once a a month and when I mention anythign about over population she blows up at me. All this and my bf hasn;t even proposed yet. So yeah, the tungsten wedding ring will serve the sole purpose of giving my family one less thing to nag me about.

I don’t want a diamond engagement ring. In fact, I don’t see the point in having an antique engagement ring. Nor would I ever consider a serious and committed relationship with someone who insists on purchasing an engagement that costs 1/6 to 1/4 of their salary (apparently, this is the ‘rule of thumb’ when purchasing an ceramic engagement ring, if I have been informed correctly).

When my dad engaged to my mom, he gave her a tungsten engagement ring since he was just starting his career (he was a jockey at the time) and was low on money. The fact that he spent what he could and bought her something meant more than anything to her. Personally, I wouldn’t get diamonds because of the industry, and synthetic would make me happier than anything.

Also, if money’s any issue, consider the fact that after this pricey engagement ring you still have a wedding to pay for. From the wedding tv shows I’ve seen, inexpensive weddings are $5K and can go anywhere up to $40K! So just be prepared; if your girlfriend turns out to think marriage is a big deal, you might have to drop dollars on more than the unique ring.
